Hannah Yardley, Founder
I am the founder of Yardley Law PLLC and am licensed to practice law in Maine and New York.
Before founding my practice, I served as US Legal Counsel for a European independent power producer that has developed more than 166 MW of renewable energy projects across the United States. I supported projects throughout the development lifecycle from site control through construction and closing while working closely with development, finance, and operations teams. In this role, I supported tax equity and private equity investor initiatives deploying over $200 million in Maine investments alone.
Earlier in my career, I served as Associate Legal Counsel at a fund administrator with more than $100 billion in assets under administration and serving private funds and alternative investment managers. Working in a highly regulated and detail-oriented environment reinforced the importance of clear communication, disciplined execution, and practical legal guidance.
Those experiences shaped how I practice today. I understand that businesses often need clear answers, practical recommendations, and timely responses rather than lengthy legal analyses. I founded Yardley Law PLLC to provide legal counsel that helps clients make informed decisions and continue moving forward using responsive, business-focused legal support.
Every matter begins with understanding the practical outcome you're trying to achieve and the business rationale behind it.
Not every legal issue deserves the same attention. I help clients focus on the risks that matter most.
Legal counsel should support execution, not become a bottleneck. My goal is to provide clear, timely guidance that helps clients make decisions and move forward.
